Gardening has been a major part of my life ever since I can remember. From my grandad’s allotment, a horticulture apprenticeship and onto training and working with the best of the best, including David Stevens and Geoff Hamilton, the only other career temptations have been football and cooking! I’m very happy that gardening won through and following are highlights of some of my special gardening times:

  • 1988-96 Worked with Geoff Hamilton at Barnsdale
  • 1994 Gardeners’ World Live - constructed garden designed by Dan Pearson
  • 1996 Gardeners’ World Live - won Best Design for ‘Reclaimed Garden’
  • 1996 Established Adam Frost Landscapes
  • 2005 Began lecturing at Nottingham University
  • 2005 Imperial War Museum Chelsea Garden – worked alongside Sir Terence Conran and David Stevens
  • 2006 National Rose Gardens, St Albans – constructed gardens designed by Michael Balston
  • 2006 Joined committee of Green Fingers charity
  • 2007 RHS Chelsea 2007 – won Gold Medal for ‘Realistic Retreat’
  • 2008 RHS Chelsea 2008 – won Gold Medal and Best Urban Garden for ‘A Welcome Sight’
  • 2008 Appointed Chairman of the Association of Professional Landscapers
  • 2008 Became Board Member of the Horticultural Trades Authority
