Awards announced at APL

Managing director Adam Frost has now become Vice Chair of the Association of Professional Landscapers (APL), the industry organisation for domestic landscape contractors. Having been chairman of the 2007 awards judging panel, his role within the APL as Vice Chair is to promote the group to people both in and out of the industry, and also to encourage members to submit schemes for the awards. Speaking at the awards lunch in February, which took place at Sandown Racecourse in Surrey, Adam said: 'The industry is at a really exciting time at the moment, where standards are rising and the link between designer and contractor is constantly improving. I am pleased to be part of APL and look forward to working with many of its members in promoting landscape construction'.
