Producing a show garden out of three individual competition winners was a quite a challenge, especially when visitors had to be able to walk through the space to enjoy a close-up view. Each garden was the size of a Golf Plus car – very compact, yet full of unique ideas, and so we wanted to keep the linkages simple and understated. We used planting and a variety of materials along with a communal lawn area to create one special space that managed to show off the personality of each winning design.
