I can’t tell you how strongly I believe in the fundamental role that education and learning has to play in our industry. My biggest ambition is to transform the way that horticulture is perceived so that we start to attract more young people to the sector. And in addition to the short courses I’m running in conjunction with David Stevens at Barnsdale Gardens this year, I shall be putting my energies into the whole education agenda through my work with the Association of Professional Landscapers and Lantra to see if we can’t achieve some positive change!
