Not So Square, Cambridgeshire
By using a variety of paving materials - such as brick, gravel and York stone - set within different sized rectangles, this garden feels a lot bigger than its actual size might imply. The client's desire was for a garden that could be relaxing in quiet times, but also be a social, entertaining space for guests. To maintain interest within the garden, level changes, focal points (such as timber arbour, seating and a pool) and abundant planting have been used to great effect.
