Many gardens have areas that link one space to another, and this scheme is the perfect example. Adam Frost was employed to design this part of a larger garden so that it had movement and encouraged people to go from one space to another. Timber arches, curved beds and random paving with sett detail and gravel path demonstrate a range of materials, while low-maintenance planting gives a feeling of enclosure and privacy. Buildings to the side of the garden were screened out of view from the garden visitors.
