Classic but Contemporary
This was a large domestic garden with grand, bold design elements. There was a lot of hard landscaping undertaken, including a substantial staircase with York hand-made bricks and Portland stone steps, and a modern-look terraced water feature. Planting was also on a large scale, with a lime avenue, knot garden, herbaceous beds, vegetable garden, greenhouses and a summerhouse. The overall result is a large-scale, classic contemporary design.
