Bold But Calm, Hertfordshire
At the centre of this modern garden was a stainless steel water feature, big blocks of bamboos and grasses, and large deck area for entertaining. Sleepers run across the whole garden to give a unifying feel, while on the lower lawn a quiet atmosphere was created. Blanc de Bierges paving was used near the house, and gave a mellow tone to the design.
