Construction
Simple yet Stylish, Derbyshire
Some gardens are all the more appealing for their simplicity and lack of fuss - this was one such scheme. Derbyshire stone walling was used surrounding a raised terrace. Sleeper steps were built up to an elevated seating space which affords stunning views over the surrounding countryside. A timber arbour links the two sides of the gardens (which tightly hug the house), as well as a small area of lawn, mixed perennial planting, and some evergreen structure.
