Born Again

I got to catch up with the lovely people from Lands’ End last week to relaunch our Chelsea garden at their HQ in Oakham, just down the road from Barnsdale Gardens where I’m based.

The garden has been relocated, lock stock and barrel, next to the Lands’ End head office and we celebrated its completion last week with a small gathering.

 

There was a great turnout from loyal customers and I even got to make the acquaintance of the High Sheriff of Rutland, Peter Lawson, who gave the opening his official seal of approval.

CHELSEA UPDATE – GOLD FEVER!

 Across the pond… and over the moon

 

This year’s Chelsea Flower Show saw four seasons in one week. We went from sun to a soaking in just six days. But nothing could wipe the smiles from our faces after discovering we’d won a gold medal for our Lands’ End Across the Pond garden. 

Knowing that our garden captured the judges’ approval has made all the months of planning and hard work worth it. It’s great news for Lands’ End as a first time sponsor and a milestone for Adam Frost Design as it completes a hat trick of gold medals at Chelsea.Read more...

Off again....

 
It’s all a bit mad here at the moment but I’m not complaining though, to be honest I love it!
 
Just back from Chelsea and now off to Gardeners’ World Live at the NEC, which no doubt will be a crack. I have a motley crew for that one – Matt Biggs of Gardeners’ Question Time fame, plus Jim Buttress (RHS judge and holder of the VMH). If anyone saw the ‘Save Lullingstone Castle’ series Jim was the sensible one on that (first time for everything Jim!).
