Sorry I’ve not been around for a while. To be honest, I don’t know how some people find time to keep their blogs updated, their tweets twittered and whatever you call it on Facebook! Anyway, thought I’d better do a quick update for you.
The sun’s up, the hedgerows are bursting into life and I’m off to the Chelsea Flower Show for a couple of weeks. This year was meant to be more laid back as I’m not doing my own garden and running around like a lunatic.
This year I’m helping out my mate Mark Gregory on the Children’s Society Garden. Mark has created a great garden where teenagers can spend time with family and friends based around a pool. Jo Thompson has designed a garden for the gardening charity Thrive and New Ground Landscapes are building it so I’ll be around to help oversee the works. This is an urban garden that shows how Thrive helps people with disabilities change their lives through gardening. To be honest, it’ll be a nice couple of weeks without any of the worry of the 12 months hard work that the rest of them have put in.
Once I’m back from Chelsea I promise I’ll keep you better updated!
