Let’s get out

I don’t know about you, but last weekend was the first chance I had to get back out in the garden after all the recent weather. People keep telling me how lovely everything looked covered in snow. On a postcard, yes, but I was glad to see the back of it. On a brighter note, just look at the picture below - I know I’m not exactly David Bailey and the photo doesn’t really do it justice, but I planted these two last year. The Hammamelis flowers look great against the stems of the multi-stemed Prunus Serrula and they are going to get better and better …don’t you just love it?

Anyway, back to what I wanted to tell you about, which is my garden. We only moved here a year ago, so the garden is still a baby really. We managed to get a lot of the hard landscaping done, but I didn’t finish the planting so I’m looking forward to that this year. The first thing is to get some veg going with my kids. I’ll keep you updated.
